The Principle: Diabetes affects nearly 3 million people in South Africa and if not treated can lead to distal neuropathy or lack of sensation in the extremities such as: strain, ulcers, calluses, or even amputations for patients with diabetes and poor circulation. We stock a range of silicone and gel foot care products that will aid in reducing shearing forces that may occur in the foot and offer a substantial amount of cushioning and pressure reduction.
Special Considerations: Some products are best fitted in person. Even more so with diabetics, correct fitting is essential for the product to deliver its’ full benefit.
